Learning is acquiring new knowledge, skills, understanding, and/or behaviours through experience, study, or instruction. To learn involves a relatively permanent change in a person’s knowledge or behaviour due to experience. Learning can be formal or informal, and it can be conscious or unconscious.
What we attempt to do here is to offer an inexpensive and informal way of achieving knowledge in an area of interest. What we do not attempt to do here is to completely replace other formal structures for learning, nor to compete with the formal institutions established to offer the same knowledge.
